You run a business where your word matters. Ours should too. This page explains, in plain terms, how XitWisely actually works: where the numbers come from, what the AI does and doesn’t do, where your data lives, and what this product is not. If something here doesn’t match what you see in the app, tell us at support@xitwisely.com and we’ll fix one or the other.

How the score works

Your readiness score is a number from 0 to 100, and it is deterministic. That means fixed weights applied to the answers you give about your own business — the same inputs always produce the same score. No model guesses at it, and no one nudges it. The AI advisor can explain why your score is what it is, but it never assigns the score itself. The same goes for your exit pathway: pathways are set by fixed thresholds on your score and inputs, not by AI judgment. If your score changes, it’s because your inputs changed.

How estimates work

Value estimates in XitWisely are always ranges, never a single number. They are built from industry broker-guide multiples, dated June 2026, applied to the financials you enter. Every estimate is labeled “not an appraisal” because it isn’t one. A real valuation requires a professional looking at your actual books, your market, and your buyer pool. Our ranges exist to give you a directional, educational sense of where a business like yours tends to land — nothing more.

Where AI is (and isn’t)

The advisor you chat with is AI. We don’t dress it up as a person, and the advisor chats inside the product carry a visible disclaimer: educational, not legal, tax, or financial advice. AI is used to explain your results, answer questions, and help you work through your roadmap. It is not used to calculate your score, set your pathway, or produce your value range — those come from the fixed math described above. Onboarding conversations may be reviewed internally so we can improve the product.

Your data

Your profile data lives in Google Cloud Firestore. Score, route, and plan records are written only by trusted server functions — your browser cannot write them, which means they can’t be tampered with from the client side. We run no third-party ad trackers and no third-party analytics scripts on the product. The only product analytics are first-party events we run ourselves, to understand how the product is used and where it falls short.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. XitWisely never stores your full card details — they go to Stripe and stay there.

Email & SMS

Every nurture email carries a one-click unsubscribe. SMS is strictly opt-in — we don’t text you unless you asked us to — and STOP and HELP are honored. Suppression lists are enforced on our servers, so once you opt out, the system itself won’t send to you, regardless of what any campaign says.

Deleting your account

Your data is yours to edit and yours to remove. You can edit your information in the app at any time. You can also delete your account and all of its data yourself, from the Security section of your account settings — no email thread, no retention call. Deletion removes your profile, your businesses, your roadmaps, your advisor conversations, and your login, and frees the email address for future use. What we are not

XitWisely is not a broker-dealer, a law firm, or an accounting firm, and we do not execute transactions. We don’t list your business, find your buyer, or close your deal. We help you understand where your business stands and what to work on before you sit down with the licensed professionals who do those things. When a decision involves real money or real paper, bring in your attorney, your CPA, or a licensed broker.
